Horizontal Automated Poly Bagging System
The HERMANATOR is a horizontal feed bagging system that is designed to be used in high output order fulfillment applications. The horizontal infeed table provides a work surface in front of the infeed that enables the operator to prepare items and paperwork before inserting into the polybag. The Hermanator uses a field proven MAX™ Series bagging system and is an ideal solution for many direct-to-the-consumer distribution centers. Depending on the configuration, product size and data transfer, the Hermanator is capable of speeds of 8 – 12 packages per minute. The seal bar includes a set of suction cups to pull the bag open and hold it in position while the operator is filling. By positioning the direct thermal printer directly over the next bag out, the system will index each bag in a 1:1 position virtually eliminating product queuing and bag waste. The next bag-out technology ensures accuracy and efficiency in packaging applications that require frequent product and label changeovers. The powered exit conveyor pulls the finished package out of the system and drops it into a gaylord or takeaway conveyor. |
