Contact UsTension Sets the Stage for Growth TIAS consolidates with Tension Packaging division, August 27, 2011 KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Tension International Automation Solutions (TIAS), creator of automation for the pharmaceutical industry, recently consolidated with Tension Packaging, which provides automation to the direct-to-consumer market, to form Tension Packaging & Automation. The combined divisions bring additional service to customers and facilitate rapid cross-platform product development. “The transition to Tension Packaging & Automation has already provided new opportunities for process and equipment innovations, which are reducing costs and increasing efficiencies for our customers,” said Bill Berkley, President and CEO of Tension Corporation. “Working together, our combined resources have expanded the breadth of solutions we offer today.” Tension Packaging & Automation designs, builds and integrates scalable automation for central fill, mail order, and specialty pharmacies, and direct-to-the-consumer fulfillment operations. The new division will continue to operate two sub-divisions: pharmaceutical and direct-to-consumer.
